A healthy diet for pregnant women includes proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. The Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) recommends that pregnant women increase the calorie consumption only between 100 and 300 a day.
