In fact, it is not going to restrict the sale of this food, but one of the most prominent surgeons of the heart in Great Britain, Shyam Kolvekar, suggested that it would not be a bad idea to begin to save lives. The objective of doctors and nutritionists is to begin a battle against the foods high in saturated fat, some of those guilty of cardiovascular diseases.
In the case of the lard, we could say that is a real enemy of your health, because it contains large quantities of saturated fat (54 grams in 100) to increase the blood cholesterol and thus to grow the possibilities of disease in the heart. As Kolvekar, fat that brings the lard is one of the causes of the 200 thousand premature deaths from heart problems in his country.
