How to protect your skin in cold ?

With the temperature changes and the arrival of cold the skin makes listen: dryness, redness, tension and increase in the pink in the cheeks; they are just some of the ways in which the skin defends the cold and damp is about.

To overcome better this transitional phase “cold-heat” the Spanish Academy of Dermatology prepared a list of 10 care tips and protects the skin of the low temperatures:

1. Have to hand a good moisturizer to prevent and combat the dehydration. The cream must have compounds moisturizers that attract the water into the skin, and components with effect occlusive to prevent the water loss.

2. Using cosmetics with vitamin C, retinol e hydroxiacids to reduce wrinkles surface.

3. If the wrinkles are not superficial, but they are marked, using cosmetics with peptides to decrease the muscle tone.

4. Use sunscreen every day.

5. Eating vitamin supplements antioxidants, give us vitamins A, B, C and E. not reverse the aging, but improve appearance.

6. In the case that during the summer have appeared spots, you must use substances depigmentant, as far as possible indicated by the dermatologist.

7. Use a cleansing cream for the morning and another for the night. Taking Care of cleaning gently, that does not aggravate the damage caused by the cold.

8. Avoid sudden changes in temperature. The passage of a place with heating outdoor can increase the chances of emergence of dilated with redness, which are not very aesthetic.

9. Do not drink alcohol or tobacco, because with the cold decreases the vascularisation skin and with this increases the dehydration and redness.

10. The cold is the best time of year to undergo the different treatments.
